A dying breed of old street stalls. Grandfathered into new restrictions on open-air food stalls, or dai pai dong (大排檔), these vendors sell comfort food along narrow alleyways. The little stools on the bench allow for easier squatting at the counter. No new permits are allowed on stalls like these, so enjoy the fading days of Hong Kong street food while you can.
